Q: Is the Ryuga 81kW only for the Ultra Bee?  A: Yes, the Ryuga 81kW is engineered specifically for the Sur Ron Ultra Bee. It is not compatible with Light Bee, Talaria, or other models. For those bikes, see the Ryuga 52kW motor.

Q: What controller do I need?  A: You must use a Ventus Aetos V9600 MAX (72V–96V) or ULTRA (100V+) controller. The MAX is recommended for 80V–96V builds, and the ULTRA for 96V–120V extreme setups.

Q: How much power will I actually get?  A: Peak output depends on your battery voltage and controller. With an 80V system and MAX controller, expect 65–75kW. With 96V and ULTRA controller, 75–81kW sustained output.

Q: Do I need upgraded cooling?  A: The Ryuga 81kW includes advanced liquid cooling. For extreme racing and sustained high-output use, we may recommend additional cooling upgrades—we'll advise during consultation.

Q: Can I install this myself?  A: Installation requires advanced mechanical skills, proper tools, and understanding of high-voltage systems. We strongly recommend professional installation to ensure safety, alignment, and system integration.

Q: What's the warranty?  A: 2-year manufacturer warranty covers defects and failures under normal use. Racing and extreme use may have specific warranty terms—contact us for details.

Q: Will this work with my stock Ultra Bee battery?  A: The Ryuga 81kW requires a high-discharge battery rated for 400A+ continuous. Stock batteries may not provide sufficient current for full power output. We recommend upgrading to a Ventus high-voltage battery system.

Q: How does this compare to the 52kW motor?  A: The 81kW is significantly more powerful and is designed exclusively for the Sur Ron Ultra Bee. The 52kW is for Light Bee, Talaria, and similar bikes. The 81kW delivers ultimate performance for extreme builds.
