Geared Mid-Drive Power
At the heart of the EM-5 is a 48V geared mid-drive motor producing up to 3,840W of peak power and a manufacturer-rated maximum motor torque of 148 lb-ft.
Unlike basic hub-driven recreational bikes, the EM-5 uses a mid-drive motor and chain drivetrain to provide responsive acceleration and a more traditional dirt-bike riding experience.
With speeds reaching up to 40 MPH, there's plenty of performance available as rider experience increases.
Three Riding Modes
The EM-5 allows riders to progressively access its performance through three selectable speed settings:
Mode 1 — 22 MPH
A more manageable setting for learning the bike and lower-speed riding.
Mode 2 — 32 MPH
Adds significantly more performance as rider confidence increases.
Mode 3 — 40 MPH
Unlocks the EM-5's maximum speed for experienced riders and appropriate off-road riding areas.

48V 23.4Ah Battery
Power comes from a 48V 23.4Ah battery, providing substantial capacity for recreational off-road riding.
Depending on rider weight, speed, terrain, elevation, temperature, tire pressure, and riding style, the EM-5 can deliver a manufacturer-rated maximum range of up to 50 miles.
The included 48V 5A charger provides a typical charging time of approximately 7–8 hours.
Dirt-Ready Suspension
The EM-5 is equipped with suspension at both ends to help maintain control across uneven terrain.
Up front, hydraulic shock absorbers with approximately 5.9 inches of stroke help absorb impacts and trail chatter.
At the rear, an adjustable air suspension system adds support and allows the bike to better handle changing terrain and rider demands.
Together, the suspension setup makes the EM-5 ready for dirt, grass, trails, practice areas, and recreational off-road riding.
Compact, Approachable Rider Fit
With a 28.3-inch seat height, the EM-5 offers a noticeably more approachable riding position than many full-size electric dirt bikes.

Valtinsu recommends the EM-5 for riders ages 13 and older, with a maximum load capacity of 243 lbs.
Rider age alone should not determine suitability. Rider height, experience, maturity, protective equipment, supervision, and riding environment should always be considered when selecting an electric dirt bike.

IPX6 Protection
The EM-5 carries an IPX6 water-resistance rating, providing additional protection against water encountered during normal outdoor riding.
The bike should not be submerged or ridden through deep water.
