The Ultra Bee is lighter, at 187 lbs versus about 225 lbs. BHive Moto sells and services the Rerode RX in West Jordan, Utah. We do not sell Surron.
Updated November 2026
Riders who come into our West Jordan shop asking about a big electric moto usually have both of these bikes in mind. We put this comparison together so you can see the published numbers side by side before you decide. Rerode RX details come from our live Rerode RX product page. Surron Ultra Bee details come only from Surron's official spec page (surron.com/ultrabee/c, checked October 2026). If we couldn't confirm a spec from one of those sources, we left it out.

The torque figures aren't apples to apples. Surron measures at the rear wheel, and Rerode lists peak torque without naming where it's measured. Range is the closest match, because both makers test at about 31 MPH. Your real range will change with speed, terrain, rider weight, temperature and elevation.
Which bike is more powerful?
The Rerode RX makes more power by a wide margin. Rerode pairs an LPMSM hairpin motor with an FOC sine-wave controller and its RC7 control system, and rates the bike at 35kW peak. Surron's spec page lists 12.5kW for the Ultra Bee.
- Top speed: The RX is rated at 78 MPH and the Ultra Bee at 56 MPH.
- Voltage: The RX runs a 97V pack and the Ultra Bee runs 74V.
- Control: The RX has seven RC7 modes, including Crawl for slow technical sections and Track for full output. You can also tune it with the RC7 app.
Which one rides more like a full-size dirt bike?
The RX comes closer to traditional dirt bike proportions because it runs a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel. Surron lists 19-inch wheels at both ends of the Ultra Bee. The larger front wheel rolls over rocks, roots and ruts more easily, and you can choose from more standard moto tires.
- Same seat and clearance: Both bikes are listed at a 35.8 in seat height and 12.5 in of ground clearance.
- Longer wheelbase on the RX: 55.1 in versus 54.3 in, which helps stability at higher speed.
- Adjustable front end: The RX fork offers 260mm of travel with high- and low-speed compression adjustment.
Is the Ultra Bee lighter?
Yes. Surron lists the Ultra Bee at 187 lbs, and Rerode lists the RX at about 225 lbs. That's roughly 38 lbs more for the RX. You'll notice the difference when you pick the bike up after a tip-over, load it into a truck or ride tight singletrack. In exchange for the weight, the RX gives you the 4.37kWh battery, the bigger wheels and a 397 lb max load rating.
Which has better range?
On paper, the RX goes further: 75 miles at about 31 MPH against the Ultra Bee's 62 miles at 31 MPH. The RX battery also swaps easily, so a second pack can extend a long day out. Utah elevation, cold mornings and steep climbs will cut range on any e-moto. Our Utah trails range and tire guide covers what to expect.

Which should you choose?
- Choose the Rerode RX if you want the most power, 21/18 dirt bike wheels, adjustable suspension and local dealer support in Utah.
- Look at the Ultra Bee if your top priority is lower weight. Check Surron's site for current pricing and dealers, because BHive doesn't carry it.
